Amud HaTorah. First Edition. Lemberg 1853. Fine Copy! - Classic sefer of Chassidus by R. Yehuda Tzvi Eichenstein of Rozla. With an important approbation by the Divrei Chaim of Tzanz, who extolls the author’s greatness and the importance of this sefer. This Sefer was printed by R. Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam of Shinniva, son-in-law of the author, who succeeded his father in law as Rav of Rozla. R. Yehuda Tzvi Eichenstein of Rozla (1791-1848), was the son of R. Moshe of Sambor and a talmid and son-in-law of R. Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichoiv. He served as Rav in Rozla and following the passing of his father in 1840, he became the Rebbe of many of the Zidichoiver Chassidim.
