Kadur Koton. Rare Polemic against the Hamburg Reform Temple. [Breslau 1819]. Rare! - The first permanent Reform Temple and the first to introduce their own “Rite” was the Hamburg Reform Temple inaugurated in 1818. Its opening elicited fierce protests from many Orthodox Rabbis. This rare pamphlet by R. Nachman Berlin of Lisa which appeared shortly afterwards, staunchly opposes any “innovations” and was primarily written to oppose the Ohr Nogah by Eliezer Lieberman (Dessau 1818).
