Dovid Zilberstein (1820-1884), was a Talmid of R. Meir (MaHaRa”M) Ash and R. Koppel Charif. He served as a Dayan in Eger and then as Rav in Zenta. In 1862, he emigrated to Yerusholayim where he served as a Dayan. He later returned to Hungary, where he served as Rav and Rosh Yeshiva in Veitzen. Father of R. Yeshaya Zilberstein.
