Yaakov Lorberbaum of Lissa. Both volumes. In many places the author disagrees with the Ketzos HaChoshen. R. Yaakov Lorberbaum (1770-1832), was born into a rabbinical family and was a grandson of the Chacham Tzvi. Orphaned from his father, he studied under R. Yosef Thumim and R. Meshulam Igra. He served as Rav in various communities most notably Lissa after which he is known. One of the greatest of the Achronim he was held in awe by his rabbinical contemporaries, and his works, including Chavas Da’as, Nesivos Ha’Mishpat, Nachlas Yaakov, Toras Gittin, Bais Yaakov and many others, are classics of Torah scholarship.
