Shmuel of Vodislov. Enthusiastically received, it was subsequently included in every major edition of the Shulchan Oruch. Published by R. Shabsi Meshorer of Prague, author of the Sifsei Chachomim. R. Shmuel of Vodislov (d. 1706), studied in the great Yeshiva of Cracow under R. Yehoshua Heschel and R. Aryeh Leib of Cracow. He served as Rav in Furth, where he later published his second, corrected version of the Beis Shmuel (Mahadura Basra). The first sefer published in Dyhernfurth.
