Twersky R. Aaron/Twersky R. Zishe/Chernobyl. Agra D’Kalah. First edition Lemberg 1868 - Twersky R. Aaron/Twersky R. Zishe/Chernobyl. Agra D’Kalah. First edition Lemberg 1868. Two parts. Fundamental Chasidic sefer on the weekly torah portions by the famed R. Tzvi Elimelech Shapiro of Dinov (Bnei Yissoschar). The seforim of the Bnei Yissoschar received great acclaim and are considered classics of Chasidic teachings. On the title page there appears an inscription in Hebrew “Ha’Rav R. Zusyia Shlita Ba’HaRav”. According to many researchers, following the passing of the Tzaddik R. Aaron of Chernobyl in 1872 his personal seforim were divided amongst his sons. The names of the different sons were then written in the seforim. At the back of the sefer there is an inscription reading “The son in law of Ha’Rav Ha’Tsaddik R. Zusyia is Ha’Rav R. Yissachar Ber” (partially smudged) R. Zusyia of Chernobyl (died 1881) was the son and successor of R. Aaron of Chernobyl. He was the Father in law of R. Yissachar Dov of Belz (who lived near his father in law in Chernobyl for a number of years) and Grandfather of R. Aaron of Belz. Stefansky 4. Poremba press. Fine condition, some pages dry paper.
