With 13 elaborately illustrated plates including a double page illustration showing the Talmudic sages celebrating the Seder. Curiously the sages featured are labeled as the Rambam, Rashi, Ba’al HaTurim, Beth Yosef and the Rif and show the depictions commonly used for these great early commentators. On the Title page there is a handwritten dedication to Dr. Leo Deutschlander of the Bais Yaakov movement. Dr. Leo (Shmuel) Deutschlander (1888–1935) was a pioneer of the Bais Yaakov movement in Poland. He devotedly worked alongside Sorah Schenirer almost from the movement’s inception and was instrumental in Bais Yaakov’s success.
