Shnei Luchos HaBris (SHLoH HaKadosh)Zhitomir 1856. Magnificent Binding! Part one only. - Shnei Luchos HaBris (SHLoH HaKadosh), by R. Yeshaya HaLevy Horowitz, published by R. Chanina Lipa and R. Yehoshua Heschel Schapiro of Zhitomir. The sefer is partially a Halachic code and partially Kabbalistic teachings and had a tremendous influence on future generations. It also has the distinction of being referred to as the SHLoH HaKadosh “The Holy SHLoH”, which is indicative of the reverence in which it is held. Particularly favored by Mekubalim, it served as the source for many of the fundamental teachings of the early Chassidic Movement.
