Mantua 1732 - At the beginning of the 16th century the Jewish Community in Mantua began to organize its financial affairs through the levying of taxes on the community. Every three years the regulations would be reviewed and a new pamphlet of regulations issued. This edition, published by the Va’ad HaKlali (Community Council) on the 4th of Kislev 5492 covers the period from 1732 until 1735 and provides a glimpse of the inner workings of this distinguished Italian community.
