With introductory letters by the D’var Avrohom and R. Isaac Sher, as well as rare photographs. With a small English section with a description of the mission of the Yeshiva. The Knesses Yisroel Slabodka Yeshiva was established in 1881 by the Alter of Slabodka, R. Nosson Tzvi Finkel (1849-1927). Under the leadership of both the Alter and the Rosh Yeshiva, R. Moshe Mordechai Epstein, it quickly became one of the most prestigious Yeshivos in Europe. Distinguished alumni include R. Aaron Kotler, R. Reuven Grozovsky, R. Yaakov Kamenetsky, R.
