Beis Lechem Yehuda . First edition. Venice 1625. - Monumental Sefer of indices, arranged according to subject headings, of all the topics in the Ein Yaakov commentary on Agados Ha’Shas. Arranged by the renowned R. Yehuda Aryeh of Modena, who writes in his introduction that although he originally prepared this sefer for his own use, with the reprinting of the Sefer Ein Yaakov he decided to print these indices for the benefit of others. This Sefer is a valuable reference tool for those who favor the study of Aggada, particularly Darshonim. R. Yehuda Aryeh of Modena (1571–1648), was a famous Jewish scholar born in Venice. He descended from a family which migrated to Italy after the expulsion of Jews from Spain. He authored a number of seforim including Beis Yehuda, Golus Yehuda and Beis Lechem Yehuda.
