Consisting of two parts; 1 – the history of the community, 2 – the present state of the community. Includes important records of the epitaphs on the gravestones of many of the previous rabbis of Brisk. The Jewish community in Brisk dated back as early as 1388 when it was the first to be issued a permit to create a Jewish communal infrastructure by Prince Witold of Lithuania.
