With a long autograph inscription by the author. R. Yitzchok Attaya (born 1755), was one of the most distinguished Talmidei Chachomim in Aleppo, where he served as Rav and Rosh Yeshiva. He authored a number of important seforim and travelled to Livorno to arrange their publication. There he met and became closely acquainted with the CHIDA.
