With approbations by various distinguished Sephardic Gedolim. R. Yehuda HaKohen (died 1850), was the son of R. Shlomo HaKohen, author of Sha’as Ratzon and other Kabbalistic works. He lived in Yerusholayim where he was one of the most prominent Mekubalim of Yeshivas HaMekubalim “Bais Kel”. In 1847, he travelled to North Africa as a SHaDaR, where he was later niftar.
