R. Tzvi Hirsch Ferber- R. Lazer Silver. Regarding the ”reestablishment” of the Sanhedrin in Eretz Yisroel. London 1951 - Autograph letter to R. Eliezer (Lazer) Silver. With fascinating personal details about the publication of R. Ferber’s seforim. It continues with an extremely strongly worded protest against the initiator of the proposed “Reestablishment” of the Sanhedrin in Israel, and particularly the disrespect for The Brisker Rav, The Chazon Ish and R. Bengis. He urges R. Silver that the Agudas HaRabonim should publish a protest against this blatant disrespect of Gedolei Torah. Written in an unusably acerbic style. R. Tzvi Hirsch Ferber (1879-1966), was born in Kovno and learned in the Slabodka Yeshiva, as well as under R. Yitzchok Elchanan Spektor, R. Itzele Blazer and R. Naftali Amsterdam. In 1911, he immigrated to Manchester, England where he headed the Yeshiva along with R. Yehoshua Silverstone. In 1913, R. Tzvi Hirsch accepted the call to become the Rav of the West End Talmud Torah in London. Renowned as a great Talmid Chochom, gifted orator and a prolific author of over 22 seforim. 21 by 27 cm.
