Toras Chacham. First Edition. Venice 1654. Fine Copy! Copy of R. Gedalia Schmelkes - Derashos on the weekly Torah portions, including many Kabbalistic themes, by R. Chaim HaCohen. R. Chaim HaCohen (1585-1655), studied under R. Chaim Vital in Tzefas and later served as Rav in Aleppo. In the introduction he writes how he traveled from Syria to Venice in order to print his seforim, however owing to with various tribulations including storms and pirates, most of his manuscripts were lost. He reconstructed a small part from memory which he published in this sefer. With library stamp of R. Gedalia Schmelkes (1857-1928), Rav of Kolamaya and later Przemysl. Vinograd Venice 1307.
