Nefesh Yehuda. First edition. Zolkiew (Lemberg) 1796. Extremely rare. - Rare sefer of novella expounding on Midrashim, Sefer Mishlei and some parts of the Talmud authored by R. Yehuda Leib Ben R. Yisroel of Zolkiew. R. Yehuda Leib Ben R. Yisroel of Zolkiew (died 1792), was a Talmid Chochom of renown in Zolkiew. In addition to the Nefesh Yehuda, he authored the sefer Minchas Yehuda (Zolkiew 1780). Both of his seforim, have warm approbations from various great Torah leaders of Poland and Galicia, who extol the greatness of R. Yehuda Leib. Although most bibliographers assume this sefer was printed in Zolkiew, Vinograd maintains that it may have actually been printed in Lemberg. Vinograd Lemberg 132. Litriss press. 2, 60 pages. 21.5 cm.
