Sa’ah Soles. Mussar. Venice 1579. Early work of mussar, on the perfection of positive character traits, by R. Refoel Norzi. R. Refoel Norzi (1520–1583), was a rabbi in Ferrara and Montova. In addition to this sefer, he authored various other important ethical seforim including Marpeh L’Nefesh (Montova 1561; Venice, 1571); and Orach Chaim (Venice, 1549; Amsterdam, 1557).
