A. Mishneh Torah Le'Ha'Rambam. Vilnius, 1900. Sections of Zera'I and Avodah.
On the Forzatz leaf, the signature of Rabbi Ze'ev Wolf Tyrnaur. Throughout the book, three long scholarly glosses handwritten by him and an additional gloss, which looks to be earlier, maybe by one of his rabbis.
Condition: Good. Minor, clean moth signs on the last leaves of the book.
B. Tur Orach Chaim. Vilnius, 1900. Title page in red ink. On the title page, the stamp of Rabbi Tyrnaur. Throughout the book, six scholarly glosses handwritten by him. There is beard hair among the leaves.
Condition: Good. A thick volume.
C. Shulchan Aruch. Printed in Warsaw. On the title page of the book, the signature of Rabbi Tyrnaur. on the leaves of the book, two scholarly glosses handwritten and by him as well as several handwritten corrections by him.
Condition: Fair-Good. Original leather binding.
Rabbi Ze'ev Ha'Levi Tyrnaur (1879-1959) was Rosh Av Beit Din of several cities, a kabbalist and a leading Torah scholar. He was the leading disciple of Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald Rosh Av Beit Din of Satmar, who gave him his Semicha (rabbinical ordination). Authored the compositions "Tal Orot", "Agudat Ezov" Responsa and more.
