Set of Beautiful, High-Quality Photographs of the Purim Carnival in Tel Aviv - Includes a Photograph of the "Nazi Monster" Display - 1934
A set that includes eleven original pictures that were taken during the Purim Carnival in Tel Aviv, in 1934. It is most likely that on the reverse side of one of them, the signature of the photographer appears.
The photographs are unique in their beauty and quality and they reflect the joyous atmosphere of the carnival with its special displays and costumes. They also show the crowd of celebrators in the streets and on the balconies and roofs. Among the observers there are also Arabs wearing headkerchiefs.
Each photograph is in a slide with an English handwritten description of it.
Among the photographs: the Nazi Monster display, dressed-up figures riding on horses, the Hebrew worker, the Western-European Jews, riders carrying spears and shields, children wearing white costumes and more.
Size of each photograph: 13cm.
Condition: Very Good.
