1985 United States Mint Set in Original Government Packaging! with 10 Coins Inside!. 1985 United States Mint Set included a total of 10 coins. Starting 1984 the outer envelopes would feature colorful illustrations or images that would change each year of offering. This was a change from the plain white envelopes that had been used for the Mint Sets of the past two decades. The set included the P&D Kennedy Half Dollars, P&D Washington Quarters, P&D Roosevelt Dimes, P&D Jefferson Nickels, and P&D Lincoln Cents. Completing the set were two mint tokens struck in copper plated bronze. These tokens contained the letter “P” and “D” to represent each mint facility. The 1985 Mint Set envelope featured a wood grain background with images of each of the five denominations. Printing indicated “1985 Uncirculated Coin Set”, “D and P Mint Marks”, “United States Mint”.
