Group of 2 United States Mint Set in Original Government Packaging! From 2002-2003 with 40 Coins Inside!. Group of 2 United State Mint Set from 2002-2003 included a total of 40 coins. The 2002 Mint Set would include a total of 20 different coins from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. Coins included in the 2002 Mint Set were the Kennedy Half Dollar, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and Lincoln Cent. The State Quarters issued for this year featured Tennessee, Ohio, Louisiana, Indiana, and Mississippi. For each coin, examples from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mint were included. Packing for the 2002 Mint Set consisted of two separate envelopes containing the coins from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. The outer designs featured the skyline of each city, themed in blue or red. Within the envelopes were two cellophane packs containing the coins, as well as a certificate of authenticity. Each 2003 set included Philadelphia and Denver Mint examples of each coin issued for circulation, as well as the Sacagawea Dollar, which was not issued for general circulation. Highlighting the sets and comprising half of the coins were the 2003 State Quarters featuring Illinois, Alabama, Maine, Missouri, and Arkansas. Remaining coins were the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, and Kennedy Half Dollar. Packaging for the 2003 Mint Set included outer envelopes depicting a bald eagle against an American flag. Separate red and blue envelopes were created for the Denver and Philadelphia Mint Cons. Within the envelopes coins from each mint were packaged in two separate packs, one containing the State Quarters and the other containing the remaining denominations. A certificate of authenticity signed by the US Mint Director was also placed within one of the envelopes.
