Colonial Currency Delaware Jan 1, 1776 Fr-DE75 2s 2 Shillings 6p 6 Pence Printed By James Adams Grades xf. John McKinly, Thomas Collins, and Boaz Manlove were the signers of this piece. Only 12,000 of these notes were printed. The printer, James Adams, also engraved the cuts for this issue. Irish-born Adams printed the Delaware issues from 1760-77 and until 1775 he was the only printer who settled in Delaware. For seven years prior, he worked in Philadelphia for Benjamin Franklin & David Hall.
