1972 United States Mint Set in Original Government Packaging. Each 1972 Mint Set contained three Lincoln Cents (P, D, S), two Jefferson Nickels (P, D), two Roosevelt Dimes (P, D), two Washington Quarters (P, D), and two Kennedy Half Dollars (P, D). A small plastic disc was also included in each set marked “Bureau of the Mint” and “Uncirculated Mint Set”. The Denver Mint coins and plastic disc were placed in a cellophane marked with a red stripe and the Philadelphia and San Francisco Mint coins were placed in a separate cellophane with a blue stripe. Together they were placed between two cardboard inserts and placed within a white envelope.
