***Auction Highlight*** 1821 Coronet Head Large Cent 1c Graded ms61 bn By SEGS. Deep golden tan surfaces, hard and glossy, and not heavily marked. Strong design elements present where boldly struck, but some lightness in the right obverse stars. A popular semi-key date, especially in a high circulated grade as offered here. From a mintage of 389,000 pieces, a modest figure when you consider that the dates 1816-1820 were all produced in the millions of pieces, as were all of the dates in the design type that came afterward except for 1823, the key to the type. Elusive when found so fine, and certain to bring a round of bold bidding activity among collectors and specialists alike. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
