*Highlight* 1851-c Charlotte G$1 Graded ms61 - ***Auction Highlight*** 1851-c Charlotte Gold Dollar $1 Graded ms61 By SEGS. The 1851-C has the highest mintage of any Charlotte gold dollar issue, yet the production of its 1851 Philadelphia cousin was more than 80 times greater. The '51-C is scarce in all grades, and becomes rare in nice mint condition. This impressive Mint State specimen offers a vastly superior strike with crisp details in Miss Liberty’s hair and lustrous orange-gold surfaces that are lightly marked for the grade.
