***Auction Highlight*** 1921-p Walking Liberty Half Dollar 50c Graded ms64+ By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - Up for Auction is a Choice Uncirculated 1921-p Walking Liberty Half. This premium near-Gem half dollar is lightly toned in iridescent champagne-gold and pale silver. Luster is full and frosty and the surfaces are uncommonly smooth for an example of this key date Walking Liberty half dollar. The 1921 has almost always been in high demand, but not until most had already entered circulation. Demand for new half dollars was low that year as the world economy adjusted sharply, reflecting the changes from war driven production to peacetime activities. The 1921 has a mintage of 246,000 pieces and perhaps just 750 remain at all levels of Mint State preservation. With Gems in MS-65 and higher grades particularly elusive in today's market the significance of this offering will be obvious to astute bidders. I have included 2 Other Coins as Comparisons
