The final work here: “The Law concerning the public conditions of the Israelite fellow-believers in the Kingdom of Württemberg” was one of a number of emancipatory laws authorized at the beginning of the 19th century giving Jews legal equality in various European countries. However the law left some issues unresolved, such as the question of the Jewish right to vote in local councils. True legal equality was not granted in Württemberg until 1868.
