Call for membership in the United Synagogue of America, includes a wonderful panoramic photograph (c. 50cm wide) of some 200 Conservative Jewish leaders, each with a clear face, standing with President Coolidge at the White House. Images is surrounded by description of the work of the United Synagogue of America. The reverse side includes an illustration on nearly each of the 8 pages (i.e sections) with additional descriptions of relevant work by the organization. The folded pamphlet concludes with: “Every Synagogue in America struggles against the disintegrating forces of modern life in a heroic effort to keep alive the light of Judaism…the United Synagogue of America is a union of the synagogues that are determined to pool their strength so that the light of Israel shall not die out in this country.”
