Antichità Alberto di Castro, Rome. Depicts the interior of a Venetian Synagogue in which attending prayers are a group of gentlemen in European dress, with one in Oriental attire. Three rabbinic officiants hover, two of whom are poised on the raised Reader’s platform. The scene is complete with a large golden chandelier hovering overhead.
