The ”Seder Olam” published in London in 1613 is an English adaptation of the Seder Olam Rabbah, an ancient Jewish chronological work traditionally attributed to Rabbi Yossi ben Halafta (c. 160 CE). This English version was prepared by the theologian Hugh Broughton (1549–1612) and records events from Creation up to the time of Alexander the Great's conquest of Persia.
