Frankfurt - Leipzig: Christian Sommer 1745
Johann Heinrich Schütte (1694-1774) was a physician in Cleves, northwestern Germany, whose prior publications included texts relating to the flora and geology of Thuringia. Here however, he presents an extremely violent attack against the proposition of permitting Jews obtaining medical training. Indeed Schütte states outright that such a notion is entirely contrary to the Christian religion and he explicitly warns his countrymen from ever having a Jew attend to them in a medical setting.
