This edition of the Shnei Luchoth HaBrith, an extensive work on Halachah, Kabbalah and ethical philosophy, is considered one of the most beautifully produced Hebrew printed books. This particular edition is especially noteworthy, as it was published in the year ‘Nachath, ’ the year R. Yisrael Baal Shem Tov, founder of the Chassidic movement, was born. Many of the teachings of Chassidism have their source in the SheLa’H HaKadosh.
