And with Zodiac and agricultural woodcut illustrations for each month. Hebrew, with Judeo-German translation printed in wayber-taytsch type. Deeply and evenly browned throughout, few short tears. With bookplate of M. Zagajski. Later vellum. 4to. Vinograd, Amsterdam 1180 and 1324. Amsterdam, Solomon Proops, 1722 and 1728. Two compendia that include Grace after Meals, Sabbath hymns, prayers before retiring, Birth, Marriage and Death services and a Passover Hagadah. The illuminating woodcuts illustrate selected holidays and observances through the annual religious cycle. The prototype of these images was Menasseh ben Israel’s Sepher Minhagim of 1645 (see previous lot).
