MIZRACHI, ELIJAH. - Eliyah Mizrachi [super-commentary to Rashi on the Pentateuch]. f. 280 only, with Hebrew map of Eretz Israel on verso. Folio. (Venice, 1545): Elijah Mizrachi’s map of the Holy Land first appeared in the Venice 1523 edition of his Bible commentary. Although primitively drawn, it correctly notes the borders of Eretz Israel and the places recorded in the Book of Deuteronomy. See E. & G. Wajntraub, Hebrew Maps of the Holy Land (1992) pp. 19-21.
