Arolsen, 11th November, 1767.  Issued by Friedrich Karl August (1743-1812), Prince of Waldeck and Pyrmont, the son of Karl August Friedrich (1704-1763), this decree banned foreign Jews from engaging in trade within the principality of Waldeck starting January 1, 1768.  However, Jews retained the right to enter the principality to seek repayment of loans and bonds. Any foreign Jews discovered trading in goods on fairs, in cities and village, however, would have their merchandise confiscated and be expelled from the region.
