Cerf, 1891.  Copies listed by WorldCat located only in France.  Born in New Orleans, Henri Cordier (1849-1925) was a French linguist, historian, ethnographer and Orientalist. President of the Société de Géographie in Paris, Cordier was a prominent figure in the development of East Asian and Central Asian scholarship in Europe in the late 19th and early 20th century.  Cordier was co-author of the entry on Jews in China in the Jewish Encyclopedia (1906).
