Salonika born R. Shmuel Aripol (1540-86) composed this work upon recovering from illness in 1571. A resident of Tzfat for many years, he explains the esoteric verses of selected Tehillim using a wide range of interpretive methods, ranging from Peshat to Kabbalah.
