FIRST EDITION.

Title within woodcut wreathed architectural arch. Formerly in the collection of the late JJ Reich, Manchester.

ff. 243. Title neatly taped, lower portion of f. 241 with repaired worming. Modern boards. Sm. 4to.

Vinograd, Venice 998.

Venice, Giovanni di Gara, 1605.

Important Teshuva Sefer by the Alshich HaKadosh.

This collection, encompassing 140 chapters, contains important responsa across the expanse of Yoreh De’ah, Even Ha’Ezer and Choshen Mishpat. Especially noteworthy is the discussion on ff. 195-198 concerning the “Ethrog hamurkav” (a citron grafted with a lemon) - a contentious issue to this day - that has been referenced countless times by Poskim across the centuries.
