Schoneman (1840-98) Company E, 19th Pennsylvania Infantry and Hastings Keystone Battery, Pennsylvania Light Artillery (PLA). He served as a bugler in the PLA and saw combat at Snicker’s Gap. At the Battle of Gettysburg his unit was held in reserve and did not fight. Discharged August 20, 1863. He was married by Rabbi Marcus Jastrow. Buried in Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Philadelphia.
