Recent wrappers. 8vo.  Written by the Nancy-based lawyer Claude-Antoine Thiéry (1764-?), this was one of three winning essays answering the question posed by the Royal Society of Arts and Sciences in the city of Metz:”Are there Means for Making the Jews Content and Useful in France?”  The advice given here was that the economic emancipation of the Jews and the suppression of restrictive measures to which they subjected, would guarantee their integration.  See David J.
