Also with stamps of the BETH HAMEDRASH K.K d’Mir. Rabbinic scholar and authority Kopel Kahana (1895-1978) was educated in Lithuanian yeshivas before he immigrated to England to study in Cambridge. Thereafter, he lectured for many decades in Jews College, London, where one of his devoted students was Haham Solomon Gaon. The author (1821-92) served as Rabbi of Mir for 18 years. R. Isser Zalman Melzer was his student.
