Composed in the style of the Passover Hagadah, this is an adroit, gentle parody whose theme revolves around the marital union of Norbert Kratz and his bride, Emma Moses. Supplies humorous references to members of the respective families. Norbert was a horse-trader, who lived with his wife in Nideggen (North Rhine-Westphalia), together, they had two children. In 1941 the whole family were deported to the Lodz Ghetto and subsequently murdered in the Chelmno extermination camp.
