ROSENTHAL, LEOPOLD. Pay-voucher for this Captain, Commissary of Subsistence, U. S. Volunteers; paying him and his Black servant $126.95. Printed document with manuscript additions. 31st August, 1864. Rosenthal (1825-65) entered service as 1st lieutenant in the 5th Pa. Cavalry. Participated in many battles and promoted to captain. He transferred to U. S. Volunteers and honorably discharged.
