Jerusalem, 1900's-1950's.     This collection of ledgers logging the expenses and donations of various societies in Jerusalem in the first part of the 20th century includes: * A register of the expenses incurred by the society Mishmereth HaTzeniuth, or Guardians of Modesty Society. 1936-41. * Pinkas of the synagogue Tifereth Me’ah She’arim. 1935-41. * Ledger containing pledges and amounts received by Tifereth Me’ah She’arim. 1929-45. * Pinkasim of donations and expenses. These date from 1882-93, 1925-38; and 1930-34. * Several notebooks and ledgers recording loans. These date from 1903-12; 1913-24; and the 1950s.
