(HOLOCAUST). Deutsches Reich Reisepass. PASSPORT of a German Jew who fled Berlin and found sanctuary in Eretz Israel. Including endorsed stamps by the GERMAN NAZI CONSULATE IN HAIFA, PALESTINE.  Printed document with manuscript additions, and photograph of the bearer, Dr. Julius (Israel) Loewenheim. Numerous ink stamps of the Nazi German Consulate in Haifa, Palestine. pp. 32, Original printed wrappers, light wear. 12mo. Haifa, December, 1938.     A rare Third Reich passport issued to a German Jew by the Nazi German Consulate in Haifa, Palestine. Stamped with a red ‘J’ (for Jew), along with the Nazi-mandated added middle name ‘Israel.’     A testament to the bizarre situation whereby German Jews who were forced out from their home country of Germany, were subsequently provided with consular services at the German missions overseas.
