Directory of Kosher restaurants and Kosher purveyors in Germany and across Europe. Restaurants listed in the Directory were ritually approved Kosher establishments, this included hotels and boarding houses. Includes an abundance of ads, not just food related but also travel, as Hamburg was the point of departure for ships traveling to America and indeed across the globe. Founded in Hamburg in 1900, the Verein zur Förderung ritueller Speisehäuser e.V. was a registered association for the promotion of ritual eateries.
