The Roll of Honor (beginning on p. 215) includes the names of Jewish soldiers killed in the battle). The complete monument dedication addresses by Jewish officers are prominent. The three officers noted were founding members of the Hebrew Union Veterans Association: Captain Ed Wertheimer, 54th NY Infantry (p. 398); Captain Joseph Stiner, 59th NY Infantry, (p. 439); Captain Alex Newburger, 4th NY Cavalry (p. 1116).
