(CHABAD). Draft of Letter Sent to the Rebbe from Distinguished Chabad Figures. Possibly a draft of the letter published in Igros Kodesh, 26:9-613, authored by R. Zevin. The Rebbe’s response was never publicized. One page. Marginal tear. Kfar Chabad 12th Ellul, 1969 Concerning the danger of considering the present period the ‘Athchalta D’Geulah’, beginning of the Redemption. The rabbis debated whether or not to publicize their positions given the sensitive nature of the topic, and thus have decided to consult with the Rebbe. The rabbis involved were Rabbis Zevin, Gurelik, Chen, Yudasin, Slonim, Chenzin, Trebnik, Ashkenazi, Gorodetski, Wilamowski and Pulver.
