Historic Russian-language Hagadah issued for the Jews of the Soviet Union, “The Jews of Silence” as the late Elie Wiesel memorably labeled them following his visit there in 1965. The pocket-size of this Hagadah edition was conducive for smuggling into and distribution within the Soviet Union.
